Libertag NPO

This project will bring to light these countries suffering
through one of the most impactful forms of expression, art.
Historically, art has been used to express the thoughts of people,
especially in times of tribulation. Examples of such work are “
The Consequences of War by Peter Paul Rubens, and
Uneexécution capitale, place de la Révolution by Pierre Antoine”.
I will create an NPO that will be developing a mobile application
where users can learn about artists in war-torn countries.
Additionally, users can donate funds and track how much of
their donation goes to the artist.
Annual Report Data Visualizations
Before developing my application, I researched multiple aspects
of how a nonprofit uses money so I could depict an accurate use
of spending for nonprofit donations. Additionally, I research
war-torn countries that I could include in my application.

After Much Research and I came up with this data visualization
that will break down earning reports from 3 non profits. I will
then use them as a method of modeling my own NPO
War Torn Countries
After doing research, I found some information about my
countries of focus as well as the state of refugees. Additionally
I have compiled a series of historical information about the
unrest in these countries. I will be creating a small summary
for my data visualizations. Below is the map that I want to
take inspiration form.
Logo | Clearance Diagrams
For the nonprofits name, I took inspiration from Russian
Constructivism design and a street artist Shepeard Fairy.
Both styles have themes that display a bold militaristic
style, where Mr. Fairy’s differences are in the message.
Unlike Russian Constructivism, which was used as a
method of making propaganda, Mr. Fairy uses a similar
style as a parody of the themes in Russian Constructivism
Typography
In selecting the typeface for this project, a deliberate and thoughtful choice was made to employ blackletter, a distinctive and historically resonant font style.
The decision to embrace blackletter typography was driven by a strategic intent to encapsulate the gritty and edgy aesthetic synonymous with many street artists. Blackletter, with its bold and angular characters, not only imparts a sense of rawness and urban authenticity but also serves as a visual homage to the rebellious spirit and artistic expression often associated with street art.

Palette | Exemplar
The choice of color palettes stems from both the Obey Brand,
Russian Constructivism, and the Cuban Revolution. I wanted to
incoporate elements from both while still having my own flare
hence the off color black.
Mobile Application
For my application, I wanted to create a simple app that can
be used by all ages without having issues of navigation.
Additionally, I wanted an app that used blues rather than a
stereotypical white background.
I feel that I was able to create a simple app that uses
micro animations for intuitive intersections.
